About this event

Join the Cumberland River Compact and the City of Gallatin for a volunteer litter cleanup along a tributary of Town Creek in Gallatin! Town Creek runs through the heart of Gallatin and tends to accumulate trash and debris, which can move downstream and ultimately end up in the Cumberland River. By collecting that trash where its journey begins, we can improve water quality in Town Creek and beyond.

In addition to picking up litter, volunteers will also have the unique opportunity to discover the wildlife that live in Town Creek through an educational activity led by Compact staff.

Your participation in this cleanup is part of a larger effort to preserve the health and beauty of Gallatin’s waterways for future generations. Thanks for joining us!

Meetup and Parking: We’ll meet outside of the Gallatin Civic Center; scroll to the bottom of the page for the event address. Parking is available at the Gallatin Civic Center or nearby Municipal Park.
