A Mystery Vase & Flower Challenge

Some people walk into a thrift store and see a questionable ceramic swan.

We see POTENTIAL.

And possibly a cry for help.

Welcome to Thrifted, Gifted & Slightly Unhinged , the flower arranging class where you have absolutely no control over your vase, and we think that’s hilarious.

We’ve collected 12 gloriously mismatched thrifted vessels . Some are beautiful. Some are unusual. Some look like they were once proudly displayed in someone’s grandmother’s guest bathroom.

And you don’t get to choose yours.

You’ll be randomly assigned a number, and that number determines which mystery vase you’ll be working with.

Then comes the fun part! You’ll receive a mystery bundle of fresh flowers and be challenged to turn your unexpected thrift-store treasure into a floral masterpiece. We’ll even have a little trading round, because apparently we’re introducing a black market for carnations.

Will you get a gorgeous vintage pitcher? A charming little vase? A ceramic animal with an expression that suggests it knows your secrets?

That’s between you and the thrift-store gods.

Once everyone’s finished, we’ll name our creations and have a little friendly judging. Nothing too serious. Although we fully expect someone to become emotionally attached to a ceramic duck and accuse the judges of favoritism. (Judges will be our followers! Winner gets a complimentary class on us!)

You’ll leave with your arrangement, your mystery vase, and a story that will probably get better every time you tell it.

No experience necessary. Just a sense of humor, a little creativity, and the emotional resilience to accept whatever ceramic nonsense fate has assigned you.

12 mystery vases. 12 flower challenges. Absolutely no exchanges with management.
