- ➤ AAA reports gas prices in Tennessee average $2.57 — 12 cents lower than last month and 6 cents lower than last year — offering relief for drivers planning holiday trips. Regional prices vary, with the lowest in Clarksville and the highest in Nashville. Hendersonville Standard
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ On Dec. 15, Filip Forsberg scored his first hat trick of the season, helping the Predators clinch a 5-2 win at Enterprise Center against the St. Louis Blues. Juuse Saros made 20 saves as Nashville improved their record. Sumner County Source
- ➤ College football coach Nick Saban and his business partner Joe Agresti purchased a minority stake in the Predators on Dec. 16 in a deal announced by franchise chairman Bill Haslam, joining local season ticket holders in an ownership group aiming for future success. Sumner County Source
- ➤ Station Camp basketball had a 7-1 start (after losing key players Seth Bailey, Ty Thurston, and three underclassmen transfers) and TSSAA reported 1,315 high school transfers for the 2025-26 season after a one-time exception granted in March. Hendersonville Standard
