O’Charley’s closed its eight Middle Tennessee locations after managers said employees were informed of the shutdown last Wednesday at 8 p.m. The restaurant chain removed its social media profiles amid growing rumors of the closures.
🎓 Education
Three Sumner County high school seniors have been named National Merit Semifinalists, putting them among the top scorers in a competition that will award roughly $24 million in scholarships next spring + the group includes one from Hendersonville High School and two from Merrol Hyde Magnet School.

The Tennessee Lottery published winning numbers for Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America, Tennessee Cash, Daily Tennessee Jackpot, Millionaire for Life, Cash 3, and Cash 4 following September 9 draws, so check your ticket for prizes from yesterday and draws scheduled for today, Sept. 10, and Sept. 11 and Sept. 12.

The Predators rookie camp begins tomorrow with physicals and team meetings in Nashville before the prospects move to Morrisville for the Prospect Showcase.
Practice is set for Saturday at Centennial Ice Rink at 9:30 a.m. CT, followed by games at Invisalign Arena on Sunday and Monday.
Old Hickory Lake will host the largest bass tournament with a $3.25 million payout when renowned angler Bill Dance leads the World Bass Enterprises competition at Sanders Ferry Park from Oct.
29-Nov. 1. Top 50 anglers will compete plus a concert will be held at The Pinnacle in Nashville.
