- ➤ The Tennessee Volunteers will face Illinois in the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl on Dec. 30 at 5:30 p.m. ET at Nissan Stadium in Nashville as they aim for a fourth consecutive nine-win season under coach Heupel’s leadership. Sumner County Source
- ➤ Titans rookie Cam Ward expressed frustration with his play after throwing two touchdowns in a 31-29 win over Cleveland.
