- ➤ TDOT has announced its 5th Annual No Trash November campaign to remove 75,000 pounds of litter from roadways and waterways across the state. Governor Bill Lee has proclaimed November as No Trash November Month, and cities and counties are planning cleanup events throughout the month. Sumner County Source

- ➤ Handel’s Ice Cream introduced three new pie-inspired flavors for Thanksgiving that turn classic desserts into frozen treats. The Banana Cream Pie, Deep Dish Apple Pie, and French Silk Pie are available now — at participating locations while supplies last. Sumner County Source
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Blaine released his first-round Sumner County football playoff predictions for nine games, forecasting wins for teams including Beech, Blackman, Boyd Buchanan, Marshall County, Centennial, Nolensville, Westmoreland and White House. He predicted the local Hendersonville Commandos + Page Patriots contest will end 42 to 8 in favor of the Page Patriots. Hendersonville Standard
- ➤ The Tennessee high school football playoffs will begin on Friday, November 7th—TSSAA has scheduled matchups for teams from Cannon, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Wilson and Williamson counties. Sumner County Source
- ➤ The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association has digitized more than 1,100 VHS tapes of championship games from 1989 to 2002 to preserve key sports moments for local fans. More than 400 tapes will be converted soon to complete the digital archive—offering a new way to relive classic games. Hendersonville Standard
