  • Forbes has released its Best Customer Service Companies list for 2026 after surveying 158,000 consumers from August 2024 to July 2025 — the study gathered wide-ranging customer opinions. The UPS Store holds the top spot for the third year — several local businesses such as Zaxby’s and BJ’s Wholesale are also featured on the list.  Sumner County Source

SPORTS NEWS

  • Summit's Summer Riley scored three goals to lead the Spartans to a 3-2 win over Hendersonville and earn their first state tournament spot; she reached her 100th goal as Hendersonville's 16-game win streak ended. Riley used her speed to tie the game and take the lead twice before sealing the win in the final minutes.  Hendersonville Standard
  • Friendship Christian improved its season record to 8-1 with a 63-20 win over MJCA on Friday after scoring five touchdowns early to build a 35-point lead. The Commanders will travel to Nashville on Halloween to face defending state champion Nashville Christian in the Division II-A Middle Region title game.  Hendersonville Standard
