- ➤ Tennessee gas prices fell three cents last week to $2.68—now 10 cents lower than a month ago and 11 cents less than a year ago—while the national average dropped five cents to $3.03 due to falling crude oil prices, lower demand, and cheaper winter-blend gasoline. - ➤ Hunters are reminded today that the 'tag before you drag' rule is in effect despite concerns that paper tags are fragile and mobile devices are not available for printing—officials are reviewing enforcement on private lands while also allowing pink gear for safety.
