- ➤ Veterans Park will host the 6th Annual Hendersonville Pig Fest from October 23rd to 25th—presented by DUDE WIPES and organized by HolidayFest and Hendersonville Parks and Recreation to benefit local nonprofits such as Mary’s Magical Place, LiveLoveNashville, Grace Place and Christmas4Kids. The festival will feature a wrestling event with Jeff Jarrett, a hometown concert headlined by the Oak Ridge Boys, a steak dinner with trivia and parking art on Thursday, and a free BBQ fest with tournaments on Saturday. - ➤ The Titans lost 31-13 to the Patriots and now have a 1-6 record after a game where their offense slowed in the second half. Interim head coach Mike McCoy said the team will work hard as key players suffered injuries and did not return. Sumner County Source
- ➤ Coach Mike McCoy explained his decision to run out the clock at the end of the first half after the Titans trailed 17-13 against New England—he said that the wind and incomplete passes on a long field goal drive factored into his choice.
