- ➤ The 2025 Music City STOL event will be held October 10-11 at Music City Executive Airport—offering a practice day on Friday with food trucks and vendors and a competition day on Saturday. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Tennessee gas prices increased by 2 cents last week to an average of $2.75, remaining 10 cents lower than a month ago. AAA spokeswoman Megan Cooper said prices shifted lower over the weekend and are expected to stay steady as stations switch to winter-blend gasoline — a sign of lowered demand and increased supply. - ➤ MTCS defeated Friendship Christian in a straight-set win (25-18, 25-19, 25-7) on Monday and secured a Division II-A state tournament spot while advancing to the Middle Region semifinals.
