- ➤ Thirteen haunted attractions across Middle Tennessee are open through the end of October and some into early November — the Tunnel of Terror in Hendersonville offers rides on select October nights with tickets at $25 per car. Sumner County Source

- ➤ High school football games in Week 7 ended with scores reported from Middle Tennessee—Hendersonville beat Summit 28-0 while counties such as Cannon, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Robertson, Rutherford, Wilson, and Williamson posted their results.
