- ➤ BBB warned parents and students that a rise in emergency scams is targeting families as college campuses reopen; scammers are using voice cloning to mimic loved ones and urge victims to verify any emergency call—using known phone numbers—before sending money. Sumner County Source
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said the archery-only deer season and fall turkey season will open Saturday, Sept. 27. The deer season runs from Sept. 27 to Oct. 24 and from Oct. 27 to Nov. 7 while the turkey season offers archery and shotgun/archery dates in most counties—hunters must carry proper licenses.
