- ➤ Centennial Park Conservancy announced that the free Kidsville Family Festival will return on Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Musicians Corner Amphitheater, where families can enjoy live music, dance, mascot meet and greets, fun games, and food trucks—this event will offer entertainment for all ages. - ➤ Ascend Federal Credit Union announced today that Laura A. Miller was appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer and will join its executive team to lead the credit union’s employee strategy — including compensation, benefits, and talent initiatives. - ➤ The All-American Rejects will headline a pre-race party at Music City Grand Prix on Sunday, Aug 31 at noon CST—playing their biggest hits before driver introductions for the INDYCAR season finale and inviting all race ticket holders. Sumner County Source
- ➤ East Robertson Indians won a 35-28 overtime game at Liberty Creek on Friday and head coach Chase Brooks said his team fought hard until the end—showing their determination on the road. Hendersonville Standard
- ➤ Ensworth transfer Sam Bowers scored four touchdowns, including the final go-ahead score, to lift JPII to a 34-27 win over Lakeway Christian and give head coach Roc Batten his first win with the Knights.
