- ➤ TSSAA has released the week 1 high school football schedule listing games in counties (Cannon, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Wilson, and Williamson) with most games set to be played on Friday, Aug 22 and some on other days. Sumner County Source
- ➤ NASCAR will return to Nashville Superspeedway for its annual tripleheader weekend from May 29 to May 31, 2026. The Truck Series will run on May 29, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series on May 30, and the Cracker Barrel 400 on May 31 — with tickets available now. Hendersonville Standard
- ➤ Creek Wood High played its final preseason tune up against Fairview last Friday night during the Fairview Jamboree. Coach Houston Thiel said his young team gained valuable experience—despite trailing 14-0 early—and will open the season against Forrest Friday night. Hendersonville Standard
