Bambino's Playroom in Gallatin is set to host a Summer Kickoff Luau with special guest Moana on Friday, June 27th from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.—the event will feature a meet and greet, music, and games.

After four years of using ESSER funds for free school supplies in grades K—8, the Sumner County School District will stop the program for the 2025-26 school year.

The school district will supply leftover materials through its Family Resource Center and urges community groups to help meet students’ needs.

After losing three games this week and canceling a fourth due to rain, Full Count Rhythm snapped their skid on Monday with a 14-6 win over the Madisonville Miners at Drakes Creek Park.

The game was delayed nearly two hours by bad weather before the team built a 1-0 lead and then scored season-high runs to set a new tone for their season.
