EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Students in grades 2 through 12 interested in tournament bass fishing will attend an informational meeting on May 14 at 6 p.m. at the Beech High School cafeteria, where they will meet team members and learn how to sign up for the upcoming season. Sumner County Source
- ➤ Hadley Davis was selected as the graduation speaker for Harpeth High’s Class of 2026. Davis, who served as senior class president and vice president of Harpeth Havoc (she also held the role of secretary in the National Honor Society), will speak at the upcoming graduation. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Station Camp (which accounts for over one third of the county's qualifiers) will compete at the upcoming TSSAA track and field championships. The team hopes for a high finish as it faces tough competition. Hendersonville Standard
- ➤ On Monday night, Hendersonville's Commandos clinched a sectional win for the first time since 2016 when Bristol Stiles pitched a four-inning perfect game against Overton in the Region 4-4A semifinal, with the team scoring 15 runs & advancing to the region bracket. Hendersonville Standard
