- ➤ A Texas man, David Aaron Bloyed, 60, was convicted on May 8 for threatening to lynch and kill Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk and now faces up to five years in federal prison+ the U.S. Department of Justice stated his online posts linked to an antisemitic group were meant to intimidate law enforcement officials. - ➤ Hunters are divided over a proposal to allow metal-encased straight-walled cartridges in muzzleloader rifles as the Tennessee Wildlife Federation urged the Tennessee Fish & Wildlife Commission to update the rules for better reliability and accuracy.
