- ➤ Students from four Sumner County schools earned high marks at the Middle Tennessee Vocal Association Solo & Ensemble Festival held Saturday at Lebanon High School. Hendersonville High, Hawkins Middle, Liberty Creek High, and Liberty Creek Middle students received Superior and Excellent ratings in various solo and ensemble performances. Sumner County Source
- ➤ Gallatin High School music teacher Lucy Alegria was named a 2026 Music Teachers of Excellence winner by the CMA Foundation today, joining 29 educators nationwide. Sumner County Schools celebrated her achievement with a ceremonial white-glove presentation and a commemorative 10-year pin during a school event. Sumner County Source
- ➤ Two William James Middle School students, Logan Kirkham and Alden Adams, excelled at the TSA State Leadership Conference in Chattanooga by taking first in Robotics and third in Drones. The duo is now headed to TSA Nationals. Hendersonville Standard

- ➤ After an unexpected home delivery, Ke’Asia was treated at TriStar StoneCrest while baby Korey was moved to TriStar Centennial for advanced care (a secure NICU camera allowed her to monitor his progress); today, both are thriving thanks to coordinated support. Sumner County Source
