- ➤ Father Ryan has hired Malik Mims to replace retired head basketball coach Doug Bontrager, who ended a 37-season tenure with 603 wins. - ➤ Adam Riley is a right-handed pitcher from Robertson County who plays for Jo Byrns and committed to Evansville after interest from several schools—he recovered from an elbow injury last spring and now serves as the team's ace heading into the Region 4-1A tournament with a fastball that has reached 92 mph.
