  • Highpoint Health in Gallatin requested state approval for a $60M expansion that will add adult and pediatric inpatient beds to its emergency facility amid patient transfer delays. The Health Facilities Commission will review the proposal in June.  NewsChannel 5
  • May is Mental Health Awareness Month after Governor Bill Lee's proclamation; state agencies advise residents to verify that insurance plans match mental health coverage with physical care benefits (including therapy, counseling, and medication management) to help cover treatment costs.  Sumner County Source
