- ➤ Sumner County 4-H begins summer camp signups as Junior Camp for grades 4-6 opens Monday, May 4 at 7 a.m. at the Extension Office with camp dates of Jun-8-12 at Clyde M- York 4-H Center, while Junior High Camp is accepting applications for May-25-29. Hendersonville Standard
- ➤ Sycamore Middle School's TSA students shined at the 2026 Leadership Conference in Chattanooga by qualifying for semi-finals and earning top-three positions in several competitions + the school celebrates their growing technical skills. Hendersonville Standard

- ➤ Creek Wood High School’s Lady Red Hawks flag football team celebrated Senior Night last Wednesday with shutout wins over FCA (29-0) and Harpeth High (40-0); coach James Smith praised the seniors for key touchdowns and improved offense. Hendersonville Standard
- ➤ Creek Wood High School’s Lady Red Hawks won three softball games last week — a 16-1 victory over Spring Hill, a 4-0 win against Harpeth and a 1-0 shutout over Montgomery Central. Emma MacChiaverna led the offense with four RBI on Monday and pitched a shutout on Friday. Hendersonville Standard
- ➤ Creek Wood High School’s Unified Mario Kart team will compete tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. in Room 333 against national rivals via PlayVS as they seek a fourth consecutive title & honor an undefeated 8-0 season. The team, which includes students with and without disabilities, invites locals to cheer them on. Hendersonville Standard
