- ➤ The Tennessee High School Senior Real Estate Licensing Program began accepting applications on April 1 for 2026 from high school seniors in the state. Sponsored by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (with a focus on economically distressed counties), the free program offers the base education needed to pursue a real estate license and is limited to about 100 participants. - ➤ Multiple highway projects in Middle Tennessee have triggered lane closures for repairs, utility work, and paving on I-24, I-65, I-40, and several state roads starting April 19 and continuing until April 25.
