- ➤ Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance will host the 15th Annual Pedal for Paws cycling event on Saturday, May 2 at Gallatin Civic Center; early registration opens at 7:00 a.m. as cyclists choose from 14-, 30-, 45- or 62-mile routes while proceeds fund spay-neuter surgeries. Sumner County Source

- ➤ Today, the Country Music Hall of Fame opened the Connection exhibition featuring posters made by Metro Nashville students and Friends Life Community artists who learned letterpress techniques at Hatch Show Print — the museum offers free youth admission and discounted tickets for local residents. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Tennessee gas prices jumped 22 cents on average this week to $3.85, the highest since August 2022 (AAA reports prices have increased $1.28 since early March), adding about $19 to a 15-gallon fill. Hendersonville Standard

- ➤ The City of Hendersonville reminded residents to follow guidelines for motorized recreational vehicles as complaints rise with warmer weather; golf carts (registered as low- or medium-speed vehicles) must use roadways only, and e-bikes and scooters should stay on designated trails and sidewalks.
