Dexter, a 9-year-old cattle dog mix weighing 60 pounds, and TC, a 5-year-old domestic short hair weighing 12 pounds, are available for adoption from Safe Place for Animals—both pets are house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations.

Their adoption fees are $250 for Dexter and $125 for TC.

On April 3rd, severe weather led to a tornado watch and life threatening flood warnings across many Middle Tennessee counties—flood advisories were issued for the Cumberland River at Omohundro Water Plant and Whites Creek at Bordeaux.

Multiple flash flood warnings were also in place as rising river stages and heavy rain caused hazardous road conditions and flooding of local properties.
