REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • A new report by The Sycamore Institute shows that rising housing costs in Tennessee are driven by strong domestic migration and rapid population growth. The report found that the state's population increased by 541,000 from 2010 to 2020 and by another 315,000 from 2020 to 2024 — more than one quarter of households paid over 30% of their income on housing in 2023.  Hendersonville Standard

  • Liberty Creek softball earned its first district win on Thursday when they beat White House Heritage 11-1 — Kaylor West pitched five innings with just two hits and 13 strikeouts while the team built an early lead.  Hendersonville Standard
  • Hendersonville baseball returned to winning form with a 7-2 win over Goodpasture on Thursday after an eight-game winning streak ended and a split district series with Green Hill. Coach Justin Martin said strong plays from Kade Pomeroy, sophomore Cal Lax, and freshman Joe Mosley helped the Commandos improve their record to 11-5 as they prepare to face state qualifier White House on Friday.  Hendersonville Standard
