  • Tang is an 11-year-old tabby that weighs 15 pounds and is house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations with an adoption fee of $125, while Wilson is a 13-year-old rat terrier and chihuahua mix weighing 15 pounds, also neutered and vaccinated, with a fee of $250.   • Cross Point Church will soon begin groundbreaking on its permanent Hendersonville campus near Vietnam Veterans Blvd + New Shackle Island Road after receiving city approval and finalizing its permit. The church grew 50 percent in weekly attendance since shifting from temporary locations during the pandemic and plans to expand its worship and community programs once the renovation of the old Food Lion building is complete.  Hendersonville Standard

  • On March 6, 2025, a fire on Center Point Road destroyed the Seaborne family's historic farmhouse and resulted in the loss of two dogs as neighbors provided immediate help while the family plans to rebuild.  Hendersonville Standard

  • Music City Executive Airport will dedicate its new Mid Field Apron expansion on March 29th at 10:00 a.m.—the project funded partly by state appropriations supports construction of nine new corporate hangars and is expected to boost revenue while laying groundwork for further modernization.  Sumner County Source

  • Merrol Hyde Magnet School was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon award winner when its student body gathered on the soccer field on March 17—highlighting Sumner County's reputation for strong schools. SPORTS NEWS

  • Beech’s Cutter Sisk was named the 2025 All-Sumner County Player of the Year after a breakout season where he averaged 22.6 points, 11.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocks. The All-County team — drawn from 34 athletes at 10 schools and including Hendersonville’s top defensive award winner Cooper Jordan and Coach Clancy Hall — was chosen by county coaches based on season statistics.  Hendersonville Standard
