- ➤ On March 11, state officials and Create Energy announced an expansion adding 1,003 jobs with over $78 million investment across Sumner and Robertson counties, including a 338,000 sqft manufacturing hub in Orlinda (bringing 973 jobs) and upgrading its Portland facility to create 30 additional roles. - ➤ Creek Wood’s Lady Red Hawks won 13-6 yesterday in a flag football game against the Lady Cougars, starting their season 3-0 — their defense shined as Dickson County recorded its first touchdown. Coach James Smith praised the team’s effort throughout the contest. Hendersonville Standard
- ➤ JPII soccer earned its fourth consecutive win last night — a 6 to 0 shutout of Merrol Hyde that tied its best start since 2013. The Knights with a record of 4 to 0 will face Lipscomb Academy on Friday as they begin their Division II AA Middle Region schedule. Hendersonville Standard
