- ➤ Tina Doniger has been named CEO of Saddle Up! as outgoing CEO Audrey Kidd retires, and she brings 25 years of nonprofit experience to lead the equestrian therapy program across Middle Tennessee. The program supports riders and families seeking more access to its services. Sumner County Source
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music has been designated as a site along the U.S. Civil Rights Trail by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development — its official ceremony featured local faith and state leaders and highlighted gospel music’s role in the fight for justice. - ➤ The 85th Annual Middle TN Strawberry Festival will launch on May 8 with the Strawberry Jam Concert (Nashville Yacht Club at 5pm and fireworks at 8:30pm) and continue on May 9 with 250+ vendors, multiple music stages, a kids area and a 4pm parade. Sumner County Source
