- ➤ CPA opened its new $25 million Fortis Arena on Jan. 30 on its campus — the facility features a gym, locker rooms, a fitness room, and a spirit store, and it hosted home games and a tournament. The arena also includes a mural honoring athletes. Hendersonville Standard
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bledsoe Creek State Park will host the free Nature Fair on Saturday, March 28 (10 am to 2 pm), where families can explore green careers and local resources. Local vendors and food trucks will serve food and offer hands-on learning for visitors. Sumner County Source
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Tennessee Education Lottery will launch Millionaire for Life tomorrow, Feb. 22, with daily drawings at 10:15 p.m. offering players a chance to win $1 million or $100,000 a year for life, with tickets priced at $5 per play. Sumner County Source
- ➤ SR 6 construction in Hendersonville will cause lane closures on Walton Ferry and Old Shackle Island Roads for a new box bridge, paving and signals. Flagging runs 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Feb. 23 - 27, with utility closures nightly from 8 p.m. - 5 a.m. Sumner County Source
