- ➤ On Feb. 13-14, thousands attended the 2026 Southern Home & Garden Expo at the Farm Bureau Expo Center, which featured over 100 vendors in construction, interior design, landscaping and more; sponsor Wilson Bank & Trust noted rising interest in home renovations. Hendersonville Standard

- ➤ Crumbl is offering a limited-time dessert menu with rotating treats, including a new Biscoff skillet cookie, from Feb. 16-21. Locals can visit their nearby Crumbl stores to enjoy these gourmet flavors. Sumner County Source
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Sumner County Schools are accepting Pre-K applications for the 2026–27 school year; families with children turning four by Aug. 15 can apply for VPK+Head Start or Tuition-Based seats and will receive placement notices after review. Sumner County Source
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Gregory Family Farm (a multi-generation farm) says a proposed TVA power line route could disrupt its outdoor classroom and educational programs, raising concerns about protecting a legacy that has been in the family since 1787. TVA continues to work with community feedback as it plans to power Gallatin. NewsChannel 5
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Reigning champion Nate Graham headlined Sumner County’s state wrestling tournament on Monday, Feb. 16. He is one of only two wrestlers in his weight class to win back to back state titles in the last five years. Hendersonville Standard
