- ➤ Local actor Jacob Truax will perform his one-man show as Abraham Lincoln at The Hermitage on Feb. 16 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in honor of Presidents’ Day and Black History Month, offering an engaging look at the 16th president’s legacy. Sumner County Source
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ AAA reports Tennessee's average regular gas price dropped three cents last week to $2.51, which is one cent lower than a month ago and 29 cents less than a year ago; despite winter weather causing minor localized outages, prices are expected to remain lower in the near term. - ➤ Tennessee Emergency Management Agency says the Crisis Cleanup hotline is available to help Tennesseans affected by the winter storm by connecting them with volunteer groups for help with fallen trees, drywall, flooding + mold mitigation. - ➤ Barry Trotz, the longtime general manager of the Predators, announced his retirement on Monday at Bridgestone Arena. He will remain as GM until a successor is chosen this summer — then he will work as an advisor through 2026 to 2027. Hendersonville Standard
