The Parks Department will install new turf at three fields in Veterans Park and Field 5 at Drakes Creek Park to support local softball and baseball leagues.
The upgrade, funded by the Public Safety, Infrastructure, Parks and Paving fund (about $800,000), will be completed before the spring sports season begins in February.
