Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

with Susi Willis

November 6 - 8, 2026

Step into the profound art of stillness. This weekend intensive invites you to explore the foundational and subtle layers required to hold a transformative container for Restorative Yoga.

Through the study of specific asana, intentional prop usage, and targeted pranayama, we will explore how to consciously activate the parasympathetic nervous system—the essential gateway to deep rest and cellular recovery. You will leave this training equipped with both the scientific understanding and the intuitive artistry necessary to facilitate deeply healing Restorative Yoga experiences. Bring your curiosity as we learn, practice, and embody rest together.

In this training, we will:

Experience & Embody : Dive into three immersive Restorative practices to feel the effects of the work firsthand.

Define the Container : Establish a shared understanding of what constitutes a true Restorative practice.

Master the Mechanics : Learn the "why" and "how" of prop setups, adapting poses for the unique anatomical and energetic needs of every student.

The Science of Stillness : Gain a functional understanding of the nervous system and the role of mindfulness in down-regulating the body.

Subtle Energetics : Explore the "inner architecture" required to hold space and create a safe, resonant environment for students.

Breath as Support : Master pranayama techniques specifically designed to complement restorative shapes.
