- ➤ The Hendersonville Rotary FallFest at The Barn will be held on Saturday, November 1st from 10 AM to 6 PM at 2310 Nashville Pike—offering live music, a food truck alley, a beer garden, local vendors and a children’s garden with face painting, pumpkin painting and bounce houses. Proceeds support the Rotary Club’s community service projects. Sumner County Source
- ➤ Camel Express Car Wash is hosting a haunted car wash in October at 379 Rockland Road for $25 per wash — card payments only and proceeds benefiting Grace Place Ministry. The event on October 11 took place and additional ones will be held on October 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26. Sumner County Source
- ➤ Sumner Farmers Co-op will host its Fall Festival on Saturday, October 18th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 450 Red River Road in Gallatin—this family-friendly event offers free lunch, games for kids, farm animals, special sales and door prizes—inviting locals to enjoy a fun day. Sumner County Source

- ➤ Culver’s at 290 Indian Lake Blvd. in Hendersonville offers a fast-food experience with made-to-order meals and table service that keeps food hot and fresh. The chain, which also has outlets in Franklin and Mt. Juliet, serves signature items +ButterBurger, slow braised pot roast, and fried seafood+ that enhance local dining choices. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Last week, gas prices in Tennessee fell by four cents on average, lowering the state price to $2.71 and marking a drop of seven cents from one month ago and 14 cents from one year ago. AAA said lower gasoline demand and ample supplies helped drive the price drop, with Clarksville showing the lowest average at $2.62 and Jackson one of the highest at $2.78. Hendersonville Standard

- ➤ Sumner County health inspectors found that several food service and related establishments earned a perfect score of 100 in inspections from September 26 to October 13 & inspection reports are posted for public review as required by law. Sumner County Source
- ➤ The health department—charged with inspecting local food service establishments—released the lowest inspection scores for Sumner County from September 26 to October 13. Dos Margarita's scored 894, Taqueria El Guerrerense scored 907 and Taqueria Don Carbon Express scored 923—each from routine checks that require posting of reports. Sumner County Source

- ➤ The Titans lost 20-10 to the Raiders in Las Vegas—dropping their record to 1-5. Coach Brian Callahan said the team struggled to score as turnovers and five sacks hurt their offense. Sumner County Source
- ➤ Titans team president Chad Brinker and GM Mike Borgonzi fired head coach Brian Callahan on Monday—citing the 1-5 record and weak offense as the reason for the move. Interim coach Mike McCoy will be introduced today and plans to make changes to help rookie Cam Ward improve his play. Hendersonville Standard
- ➤ Tennessee beat Arkansas 34—31 at Neyland Stadium on October 11th as Joey Aguilar threw for 221 yards and DeSean Bishop rushed for 146 yards. The Volunteers built a 27—17 lead and held off Arkansas's comeback with key fourth-quarter plays. Sumner County Source
