- ➤ The Haunted Hendersonville Tour will run each Sunday in October and will take participants on a 60-minute walking tour of historic haunts — including an old Methodist cemetery and the long-lost Henderson Plantation — led by acclaimed author Allen Sircy. - ➤ Health officials stress that routine breast cancer screenings are key to detecting cancer early while treatments remain more effective; CDC data shows 279,731 new cases in 2022 and 42,213 women died in 2023, and about 1 in 100 cases occur in men (breast cancer can affect anyone).
