COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Hendersonville officials and local groups held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Memorial Park on Aug. 28 to launch Foster Friendly Hendersonville—a program with Tennessee Kids Belong and the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce that supports foster children. The initiative sets goals of adding 75 foster-friendly businesses, 15 wrap teams, and 10 faith communities while planning three coalition meetings and two foster-parent recruitment events to keep foster children connected to the community.  Hendersonville Standard
