- ➤ The Hendersonville Police arrested Patrick Michael Ehringer on June 23rd after anonymous mass shooting threats were sent to Wal-Mart at 204 N. Anderson Ln—his threats were linked to a failed relationship, and he has been charged with False Reports with a court date set for July 9 and a bond of $200,000. Sumner County Source

- ➤ Tennessee gas prices hit $2.85 per gallon—a 15-cent rise from last week—as tensions in the Middle East push oil prices up, though prices remain 15 cents below what they were this time last year. Hendersonville Standard
